The reintegration of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad into the Arab League is a divisive issue among its members. It is being linked to a broader settlement that involves the return of Syrian refugees. Hostility towards them has been growing in host countries such as Lebanon, where some people believe the issue is being used as a political tool.

Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr explains from Tripoli in northern Lebanon.

Zeina Khodr is an amazing actress. The fact that she can keep a straight face while she lies and deceives is impressive. Qatar which employs her is the richest country per capita in the world and does nothing to help Lebanon one of the poorest that houses 2 million Syrians and 750, 000 Fillistini people.
