My HONEST opinion on Meshuggah (best rap band)

Meshuggah is just exceptional, one of the unique bands of all kind. They made themselves sound so much of themselves that they created a whole new genre.

It's weird that there are some djent bands people would say sound like Meshuggah, yet they never were. The closest one is Car Bomb but even then it is miles away. The closest thing these djent bands to are either Periphery or Architects.

Most of meshuggahs riffs actually work on polymeters, not polyrhythms. Similar in concept but utterly different sounds. I’d recommend checking out yogev gabays meshuggah vids for that stuff

There is one band I’ve heard that I think matches meshuggahs sound pretty well and that’s Aleph, their album ???? (Also known as four question marks) has a very similar feel albeit not as complex as meshuggah. You all should give them a listen as they are pretty much not heard of in the metal community but they fucking rock.
