Those canned tamales remind me of the beginning of the Covid pandemic. I could only buy two of them at a time at the store. For some reason, they were like a go to item in the end of the world emotional scenario lockdown experience I was having - with eggs, yum!

I have everything on this list except for the tamales. I have a feeling that the general perception is that the entire human population are nothing more than idiotic morons, when in fact that there's quite a few of us that didn't need someone to teach us how to tie our shoes. And we're well aware of the "hidden dangers" "lurking" in our canned food. And know how to address them. The major issue is the illiterate, and the ignorant, who buys them, and the dangers they pose, either because they can't read the label, or simply don't care.
Edit: Why would you put the chicken up there when it doesn't pose any health risks? There's tons of other things.

When there are food deserts and areas with ZERO fresh fruits and vegetables at neighborhood stores, people do what they can to survive and feed their families.
How about do some videos teaching people how to grow a garden in their apartments instead of making them feel bad for what they don't have access to due to their location.

I remember trying that whole chicken in a can once....yep!
When I think of the worst things in a can I've tried I'd have to say any peas regardless of brand, banner sausage, and I don't know how you can screw up a potato but canning it does the trick.
