Marvel Studios is gearing up for its next ensemble blockbuster, Thunderbolts. With a star-studded cast, this anti-hero team promises to bring a new, morally complex layer to the MCU. Characters like Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Taskmaster, and U.S. Agent will band together, not to save the world, but to take on missions others won’t. Under government direction, this team must confront an unforeseen enemy. Director Jake Schreier brings a gritty tone, creating high anticipation for an action-packed and intense storyline.

Thunderbolts promises to delve into the moral ambiguity of its characters. With covert missions and darker undertones, the film will explore what happens when “heroes” must confront their own checkered pasts. "They're going up against the Sentry?" The weakest X-Men team from 616 had to go up against the Sentry and the Dark Avengers at the same time. They fended off both by having a plan and playing to Sentry's mental weakness. The result improving upon Scott Summers ability to plan for any threat facing his team. Good writers with an understanding of the concept of Sentry (not so much his power set) will integrate him into the universe and story in a way that will allow the Thunderbolts to show their ability to not lose, even if they can't win.
