Printing postcards with the Canon PRO-300

Keith Cooper looks Postcard printing on the Canon PRO-300. Some areas you need to take care with when printing small cards, such as 6"x 4" postcards (~102x152mm). Printing at highest quality and ensuring the cards are flat will minimise waste when testing.

Excellent video, thank you. Will the Canon PRO-300 print 11x14? I didn't see it in the list of available paper sizes, so I'm not sure how that would best be done. Possibly it wouldn't print that size borderless, at least?

i posted a comment recently that seems to have been removed. I guess it was because I called out the quality of the PermaJet postcards. Let's try again. I feel that the printing of address lines and stamp rectangle on one side causes the card to bend. Keith is right to mention this in his video but the reality is that these cards will never be truly flat no matter how much time you spend trying to uncurl them. Not worth the hassle. Curly cards! They come curled, no dampness required. The PermaJet warehouse must be incredibly damp. Excellent videos, by the way. (Canon Pro 1000 used)

Hi Keith, you make some great content thanks for that! I am looking to buy a printer to print a lot of postcards with and sell them to guests on a campsite so they have something personalized to send home. So I hope to print about 1000 postcards or more during a 6 month season. Would you recommend this printer for that job? I would greatly appreciate advice of you as my knowledge about printers, despite watching your videos, is still limited and my experience low.

Hi, I’m printing 5x7 and the printer software takes the borderless option away fo both the 4x6 and the 5x7. Any trick I’m missing to keep it borderless?
