【DIY】3D-Printed Visual-Guidance Surface-to-Air Rocket (Making)

preview_player
Показать описание
The project aims to achieve precise targeting of a hovering balloon by a model-guided rocket through multi-stage navigation and target recognition technology. After the subsequent flight control code debugging is completed, an aerial shooting test will be conducted at an opportune time.
The target selected is a red latex balloon with a diameter of 1.5 meters, which will be stably suspended in a predetermined airspace by a quadcopter. The rocket will be launched from a ground launch platform.
Due to the limitations of the guidance camera's performance, this project adopts a staged guidance strategy. In the initial stage of the launch, the rocket will rely on an inertial navigation system (INS) and a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) for trajectory control. Once the target enters the effective recognition range of the camera, the system will automatically switch to vision-based terminal guidance.
The rocket is powered by the self-developed CPSRM-R-30A micro solid rocket engine.

We're making it onto the watchlist with this one boys!

This missile DEFINITELY knows where it is and where it isn't.

Man. I'm not using my 3d printer to its full potential. Inspiring stuff here.

This video is impressive since it is a very sleek guide on how to make a rocket with a 3d printer as well as being a tutorial on how to get on half a dozen countries watch lists.

Congratulations! You made SEVERAL watch lists. Lol, great job. Highly sophisticated modeling. Took me down a notch. Or

Its so wholesome that guided missile systems have reached the consumer DIY level. How will this bode for society?

Finally!
My home defense was lacking anti-air

Actually my jaw dropped to this project. I felt the dedication and work to this rocket and its beyond awesome. It may not work properly because of the refresh rate of camera because it may not be enough for up to mach 0.4-0.6 speeds but man, engineering at that pieces really impressed me. I support your job and cant wait to see more!

this could evolve to an infrared seeker air to air missile! keep up the good work!

This is some serious engineering. I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy is an actual missile designer

This is really good. Instead of staring array configuration you might consider mounting camera to brushless gimbal. And instead of conventional serial kinematic configuration, use a parallel kinematics. Then use the rate gyros to stabilize camera. You would need a decent dsp.

If you made something larger you could make an inertial platform using control moment gyros.

What a time to be alive. People printing air defense tech in their hobby rooms. Imagine telling that the engineers working on the first AIM9 Sidewinder. "Yo bro, in about 70 years from now people will just make these at home from off the shelves parts, coding the targeting algorithms from scraps scavanged from public resources".

We literally went from DD's Liberator to 3D printing homebrew SAMs in 10 years.

You have 3 voice messages:
1. Hammas call us back.
2. Boeing call us back.
3. FBI we'll be there shortly.

I think just having this hanging on your wall occasionally every few hours doing a fin test would be awesome. The cradle arm on one of them would have the charge points built in. Rocket would have to metal rings like a head phone plug. So that no matter how you set it back down it would have power. Like a talking bass fish that randomly talk this missile/rocket would randomly fin move :) Ok now I have to see what the technical difference between rocket and missile are.

I have the Bambu Lab and all I'm printing is kid toys 🤣😂 while this guy building a SAM. Jokes aside great engineering work, much respect !
