How to do Street photography in a small town - POV

Do you live in a small town? As much as I'd prefer to do street photography in big, bustling cities all the time, it's not always possible. In this video, we take a street photography walk with Leica and Carmarthen Cameras, who have just become Leica dealers. Carmarthen is my home town and is about 1 hour from the capital city of Cardiff! I hope you find the tips and tricks in this POV useful

Loved this, thanks Gareth! I always seem to struggle in markets - so much going on it can be a bit overwhelming and i end up with pretty boring/ cliché shots - even abroad where the markets areusually so much better!

I'm local-ish and have shot there a few times, Saturday market days I've had some luck there, the pigeons sometimes help create a layered shot and one of the stalls has mirrors for some reflection shots, but like you say a very old school town just walking around with the camera gets you a lot of funny looks and is often very hard work to get a good shot

Small town photography is a challenge. My town in Tasmania is very small and so i vary the lenses I take out on different days to change the way I see it.

How does somebody set the focus to hyper-focal distance if there are no distance indicators on the lens?
