I think I would just go for a self propelled push mower for a yard that size. Seems like it would be less aggravating. And less weed eating. But looks good nonetheless.

I think the grass is staying in the deck to long hence why grass is getting tossed literally everywhere do you have a mulch kit installed by chance?
