In the 1800s, two entrepreneurs, with strong values and principles, launched their businesses in the UK. John Lewis opened his first eponymous store on Oxford Street in 1864, while Robert Bosch brought his unique brand of innovation to the UK in 1898.

John’s elder son, Spedan Lewis, then introduced the partnership model of the brand that we all know today.

Today, both businesses continue to uphold their values of quality and innovation, and share a close partnership that is based on trust and progress.
