Indoor Tomato Clone Update & Hydroponic Tomato Update March 31, 2011

Just a quick update on the tomato clones and Aerogarden. I had some bugs in my hydroponic herb garden so I planted some new ones and cleaned the system. My mystery tomato plant finally has many ripe tomatoes.

I still love that camcorder! It even does depth of field on closeups! I'm still shopping for mine. Shame about that basil :-(

@SleestaksRule i have a window sill unit similiar to the one you made where i have tomatoe plants that are supposed to be giant as well, but i cut down quite a bit on the nitrogen in-take and they havent grown any taller :)

For the mystery plant I think Mortgage Lifter's are supposed to be slightly bigger, 1-2lbs or thereabout. And I must say nice garden. I'm growing some Purple Cherokee right now then trying Lemon Drop next. How do you pollinate your indoor tomato's? Cheers.

my ant use to grow huge tomatoes i think they just had a lot of sun and a little fertilizer

what do you mean by indeterminate? does that mean you wont grow tomatoes indoors anymore?

just an update, used ur suggestions and have roots in 5 days, only thing I did different was to leave a little water in the bottom of the box,   But, roots are coming out above the net cups, should I have left the water out of the box?

question; does the age of the parent plant have any bearing on clone success? My cutting were from an older tomato plant late in the season and a failure.  I was using a pump in a bucket with a sprayer head, thx

What kinda tomato? Looks like a seed from a hybrid got away. Hybrids never stay true to type.

You have to love indeterminate tomatoes. :) That mystery tomato kinda looks like an early girl. It's the right size and color.
