Trump: I don't care what race she is. That doesn't matter to me, she can be whatever she wants to be. I was confused because she was campaigning as Indian for the longest time and suddenly switched to campaigning as a black woman. But she can be whatever she wants to be.
Kamala: It's so upsetting that someone who wants to be President has attempted to use race to divide the American people.

The way I burst into laughter at this. She either wasn't listening, or she didn't understand a single word that came out of his mouth. And how can she be fr when she is the Vice President to a man who said "if you don't vote for me, you ain't black." Bffr

EDIT: People harpering on about Kamala's dad being black. That's not the point. The point is that Kamala completely dismissed and deflected what Trump had to say by responding with something that is completely unapplicable to what he just said.

And her dad is Jamaican, but he divorced Harris' mum when Kamala was 7. I previously thought he was Indian, born in Jamaica, but that was wrong (which goes to show how much misinformation and confusion is floating around online about Kamala's racial background). Her dad is not African-American, as in ethnically and culturally African-American. He is African-American in the sense that he is African and migrated to America. Which is completely different. Something I don't think people realise is that African immigrants are very different to African-Americans. For one there are big cultural differences and HISTORICAL difference, but for 2, there's a big wealth difference as well. When immigrating to the USA, The US often allows in (legally) richer people/ people competent and capable enough to contribute to US society. As a result, there's a wealth and cultural difference between black African immigrants and African Americans. Her father went to University and got an Arts degree in London. Her father was able to travel internationally to the USA for a PHD. Her father did not experience what the average African-American experienced. He was a Univesity professor. So for people being like "he was black" it's not that simple. You can't just go "oh someone is black that means they are the same as an African-American, they have the same problems, the same experiences." No. Kamala's code-switching blaccent isn't something she grew up with, because she didn't grow up with people who spoke like that. ON TOP OF THAT, her parents got divorced and she was 7, and Kamala herself said she grew up with her mom. Donald J Harris (her dad) even said that his close contact with his kids "came to an abrupt stop" after the divorce. So... gosh this boils my blood how everyone is like "oh she's half black" but she grew up with her mom, in wealth, from a dad who wasn't African-American, etc. She cannot sympathise with the experience of an African-American person or their struggles, and yet is using it to try promote herself. Especially when she is the one who kept the border open and all the illegal immigrants came in and took low-income jobs, which impacted black and hispanic people in poverty the most. Horrible woman. Black when it conveniences her.

I think the man is getting tired honestly. He's had pretty much half the country going after him including trying to kill him or wishing he was no longer alive for 5 years. SO there's going to be a breaking point, and Im surprised he hasn't reached it yet. I think that frustration came out when he found out he was in a room with 3 people who were against him generally.

I am not black, however, I cant help but feel like it must be degrading to have someone pander so hard to you. The accent clip was just weird to me. But maybe thats just me, I wouldnt like someone changing their behavior to match me or what they think i am like.

My mother, a lifelong socialist, had total TDS and thought Trump should have been locked in prison for life from 2015-2020. She has slowly been coming around, and after watching the debate, she said, "If the vote was tomorrow, I would vote for Trump."

Trump had to be a moderator on top of debating Kamala. I think she set the tone when she was asked the first question and simply did not answer at all. She gave a good rally answer talking about her upbringing and personal experience but not a direct answer. That said it all for me. On top of the salad dressing “ we need to understand “ ! She said we need to understand so many times that I was convinced she didn’t understand any of the shit coming out of her mouth. It’s the most coherent Kamala I’ve seen thus far but still lacked logic and reason

The debate was stressful to watch. At least Trump pointed out that everything was a waste of time and Kamala could just go to the white house and close the border that very moment, but she isn't doing that.

I quite literally just finished watching a body language expert who said it was very clear that Trump rattled Kamala. She was totally tense, self-soothing, forcing smiles, constantly interrupting him, and it was hilarious when he told her to shut up and she looked so taken aback. You could just tell she was stressed and knew he was making some good points.
