Donald Trump vs. Kamala Harris debate highlights

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump met Tuesday night in their first and potentially only debate against each other in an election that polls show is a toss-up.

Following the debate, the local Charleston County Republican party and Democratic party took opposing viewpoints on the verbal sparring between the two candidates. Charleston County Democrats kept the message short, proclaiming Harris is America's pathway forward.

Wouldn't it be more effective during the debate if the two political proponents are asked real questions by the American people of whom they would like to govern. Questions from( teachers, farmers, parents children, normal everyday citizens facing everyday challenges) unscripted real questions, (no fakes, shill or a stooge in the audience), and hear the answers and proposed solutions to real concerns. Are the parties afraid to answer those tough questions on the spot that would require real initiative and solutions and intention, to help us determine who may actually have real ideas to promote change.
