I'm Diamond on Royal. You didn't mention that Diamond members get 2 bottles of water in their cabin in addition to the 4 daily drinks. Also, those drink vouchers are good on Coco Cay, their amazing private island. I also get a free professional portrait. They also have a great Casino Royale program. We are not huge gamblers, but if you use the machines, win or lose, you can rack up enough points for a free cruise or hundreds of dollars off a cruise. In addition, we get offers for free cruises throughout the year, and a yearly tier cruise on almost any ship, any itinerary. I also get free unlimited drinks in the casino on all my cruises. Yes, I may lose some money at the casino (I always take a set amount to play with), but if I had to pay for the cruise I would still gamble. I've gone on dozens of free cruises.

Priority boarding and additional specialty dining got my attention. I am _always_ going to get the drink package. Combine that with pricing and solo travel, NCL is the clear frontrunner for me.

Nice comparison. Useful. Glad to know my NCL Sapphire achievement is solid when compared with the other lines’ loyalty programs. You have me thinking I could rack up points on Royal in 2025 if I cruise as often as I did on NCL in 2023. :-)

Can't agree more with this video.

I'm platinum with NCL and did it in five cruises three triple point sailings in studios.

NCL also does not need to have the drink perks for loyalty since the whole ship pretty much as free at sea

I think the NCL priority disembarkation just means you can go in the earliest group.

I had an NCL cruise with quadruple points one time.

As long as NCL keeps the drink package in FAS, it edges out RCL. And that has been in place for, what, 15 years? It would be a HUGE marketing change if they do that.

The main benefit on RCL is drinks, which everyone gets on NCL, anyway.

Both are great, imo. Seems like NCL is much easier to attain because they run so many double and triple point opportunities.

It’s Royal for me too! Good to see your channel! We met last year on Mariner OTS in Bermuda!

Nov. 2021, I was gold with crown and anchor. Dec 2022 I became Diamond. This June I finally become Diamond+. Plus gets me 5 drinks 2 days of free WiFi. 1 day of laundry service and BOGO speciality dining. What can I say, I’m stuck to Royal.

Ok I cruise for ports, food, comfy cabin. Ncl little things make me happy. Travel solo can sit solo any resterant. Not my Rcl rxperance. Actually like celeberty best but find more expensive. But excellant. Now platinum Ncl lot of perks

When you say for drinks, Royal is better, but you do not take into account that NCL has the Free At Sea drink, dinning, excursion discounts, and some free wifi. FAS drink package, yes, you pay the gratuity of almost $22 a day or like $152 for 7 day cruise. Much less than the Royal drink package. So, with this FAS, free drinks are not necessary in the Latitudes program.

I am diamond on Carnival with 2260 days. The benefits are terrible. For six years Carnival claims they will improve or change their loyalty program. Still only changes have been removal and reducing of a few benefits. Gifts have become so cheap many are not worth taking home. I cruise with Carnival because of their employees and senior officers. Now that the ships are larger, the cabins smaller and the employees are working harder I feel the only option I have is to reduce cruising.

Most people with the free at sea get free drinks - you pay for taxes
NCL all day. Big ships not huge ships

Until other cruise lines get on board with solo cabins, it’ll be NCL for me.

RC and Celebrity have better casino programs. I have gambled on NCL and never got any cruise offers. we were only 13 points from Platinum on NCL when the pandemic hit. When they returned to cruising, NCL jacked up its prices and significantly reduced the value of our future cruise credits that we got for a 13 day cruise in the Haven. we started back to cruising with Royal and Celebrity and haven't looked back.

I suggest you take a closer look at Celebrity’s program. To say it’s not a great program is doing a disservice to viewers.
