Living in San Antonio it’s a disaster, you could sell burgers and firewood on the street corner for $5 and make $ because people need food and heat, but somehow the downtown lights never seem to black out.

Disgusting- a big oil rich state like Texas should not be experiencing this kind of nightmare!

It's almost like deregulation and privatization of public resources is a bad idea or something.

Why didn’t you purchase the right equipment. Wind turbines in countries that have harsh weather did not fail. Wind turbines have different packages that allow better quality of turbines. Why did Texas choose to buy a cheaper product??

This is shocking. American infrastructure is close to collapsing. Where I live, we have wind farms, solar panels on roofs and all the power lines are underground. Haven't had even one power outage in over 20 years.

"Scared, frustrated, confused and Angry".. That's exactly how they want you..

The equipment at coal, natural gas and even nuclear power plants are frozen and that is slowing down and in some cases stopping them from getting power back up. Yet you have Fox news telling everyone that its the wind turbines and the solar panels that are causing the problem. Humans are really weird 😕

Maybe if they had prepared for the cold we wouldn’t have these issues but no those stupid ass operators didn’t think that they would need to be prepared.

I'm in Dallas. My power came back on last night. It went off a few more times this morning, but it's on now and I haven't had any more issues so far. I had to suffer 3 whole days without power.
