His love never fails 18 years ago sitting in a jail cell in Myrtle Beach i felt alone and broken, But God knew exactly where i was and when I called out to Him that day after running from Him for many years He flooded that holding cell with His presence and though not audible heard this whisper calling to me "Here I am my son, I've been waiting" I have been clean and sober since that day, my life is not perfect but I would not trade my decision to truly follow Him in that cell for anything. Today I am speaking to that one who has given up, don't! There is a better way run to Him, His name is Jesus!

I rehearsed the speech over and over again in my head, ready to accept the least from Him just for me to belong, once again.

With all I've done, I can say that I'm not really worthy anymore.

But God leans in with His hugs and kisses, reminding me graciously that I am His child by birth, and not by worth.

I was ready to traverse mountains and strive to the point of swallowing the ocean to reach Him again. Little did I know He has already covered the distance and the work has already been done.
