TUI BLUE Matta Village, Sardinia, Italy

Check out TUI BLUE Matta Village, in Italy’s Sardinia. This boutique hotel is cloaked in pine forest and is edged by a white-sand beach. Everything centres around the pool, with a big lagoon-style number and a whirlpool by its side. At the hotel's buffet restaurant, both local and international dishes are served, and there are show-cooking stations. The duo of bars covers things on the drinks front – there's one beside the beach and one by the pool. And, if you want to get out and explore the local area, the village of Budoni is only a 10-minute drive away.
