House Republicans held the opening hearing Thursday in their impeachment inquiry into President Biden. The chairmen of the Oversight, Judiciary and Ways and Means committees outlined the factual and legal basis for the inquiry and discussed whether there were sufficient grounds to draft articles of impeachment against the president.

I'd like to reassure the minority representatives that, as a tax payer, of all the stupid, wasteful, corrupt ways in which my tax dollars are used, misspent, and pocketed, this is the least offensive of all. I'd also reassure them that given the dismal job the government does in managing the country, I'm perfectly fine with a government shutdown, during which they will be prevented from doing any more damaged to an already damaged country.

In any investigation, the defense has the right to examine all evidence. If these emails are authentic, why are Republicans refusing to hand over the laptop/hard drive to allow a forensic analysis of the “evidence?”
