I feel like someone should mention how powerful and inexpensive the throwing knives are, I was consistently killing higher level robots last night with only one knife each.... I was lvl 4, and they were 10-12 I believe

Since I’m most likely playing solo I’ll go with a Strength/Intelligence build. Great video, Matty.

Thanks so much, Matty! This was insanely helpful, I've avoided watching footage for this game so far, because I'm so looking forward to experience things myself starting tonight, but I felt really worried that I'd been missing out on all the useful info. Then this video came along. Thank you!

Finally someone talks about this topic I’ve been leaving comments here and there mentioning such things about how to unlock weapon mods since the first play test.

I'd love to see the armor version. I've heard that it works differently from weapons.

I really appreciate this video because I was planning on going heavy into crafting in this game

When you find a weapon with a special effect that you like, keep it. Scrapping it will not get you that mod. Instead, apply any mod you have to that particular weapon. The Scorched often drop pipe and hunting guns and after scrapping a couple dozen, I have a bunch of mods.

How do you attach weapon and armor mods that you find. I have like 10 in my inventory but can't figure out and don't want to just sell them

You should do a video on when you make in-game purchases how do you acquire that in-game purchase cuz it doesn't just show up in your inventory like most games and if it's supposed to then maybe help people know where to go to get that merchandise that they paid for

The weapon modding is fun. What I miss the most from Fallout 4 is naming the weapons. I named a pool cue the buttwhole stickeroo

Is anyone else really excited and glad there's a level system for weapons? Because what I absolutely hated about older fallout games is once you found where the best weapon in the game is, you can just go get it, then the ENTIRE game is a fucking cakewalk. Mayne getting the weapon is hard, but then that's it.

With a weapon system, you will constantly be changing your weapon playstyle and trying new guns you come across, and I really like that. A good example of this kind of system done right is borderlands, and in this game you go 1 step further with moddable weapons. Cant wait to play 🙏
