as a woman who was 10 years old when roe was decided and 60 when it was overturned, i would like to point out how the entire trajectory of my life was decided by the right to have an abortion-- even though i never had one.

knowing that if i ever needed it, it was there as an option, allowed me to confidently work toward every goal, unimpeded by the uncertainty and anxieties i can only imagine that young women today are experiencing as they try to plan their lives under the cloud of knowing that it can all be swept away in an instant, even an instant that they did not choose to participate in.

i realize only now, looking back, that women of my generation were as free as men, maybe even more free as far as family planning goes, and that is likely why control over our bodies has been retaken by them. it's pretty pathetic that instead of them doing what it would take to live better, they feel the need to force us to live worse.

What baffles me is if I go on air and say some horrid lie about a company, or a personality, that is demonstrably un true or a lie. I would be sued. Why isn't the DOJ or the other departments (archives) that are being slandered with lies sueing him and others for slander or defamation?
