St John is the most beautiful place I've visited.

Lived on St. John for 10 yrs, now split time between states and St. Thomas. This is a good overview of the beaches, but there’s so much more to see and do.

Some of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in the world and excellent snorkeling, along with neat bars and restaurants, unique shops, beautiful hiking trails and a wealth of natural beauty bring travelers back year after year to St John.

I lived in the USVI for more than 30 years. You made the best videos I've seen so far. Thanks 🤗🌴

Honeymooned there in 1990. We went camping at Maho Bay Resort, I think it was called that. Friends suggested filling a large plastic cooler with non- perishable food items to bring with us. We brought one along with our suitcases. We stayed in a canvas sided wooden Tree House. It had electricity and a propane portable cook stove. I fed a bird right out of my hand while on the deck. We dumped our bacon grease on the ground and watched the hermit crabs gobble it up. The beach was fantastic and incredible snorkeling. We saw sea turtles, sting rays, barracuda and many colorful fish. I'm sure it's not as pristine today as it was then, but being mostly a designated national park, it won't be over developed. The wild donkeys, deer and even peacocks were a treat to see. I'm sorry to hear about the hurricane damage.

I grew up on St John. In Coral Bay! My uncle started Skinny Legs Restaurant in Coral Bay!

They kind of blew off Cruz Bay-which is a really cool beach town. Some great little bars, restaurants, really cool vibe. Woody's was our favorite. We did about 4 trips between 1999-2004, went week after Thanksgiving before winter rates set in, stayed in houses or condos above CB. Magnificent sunsets. Personally, I'd say skip St. Thomas although after flying in you may have to spend a night depending on what time your flight arrives. Take a taxi to Red Hook, take the ferry and if you make rental car arrangements your vehicle will be waiting for you at the dock in CB.

The Loss of Maho Bay Camps truly took away something wondrous. Oppenheimer had a home next to Hawksnest at the next beach, Gibney Bay, and Peace Hill has a secret trail that leads to Dennis Bay where Tippi Hedren owned the single home located off the beach. I am Volleyball Vic. What a beautiful life that was. I worked on the Concordia Expansion as Coordinator and would lead full moon hikes out to Ram Head. I'll be back.

Visited in July 2021. Loved it. Such beautiful beaches. Trunk Bay, Maho Bay, Cinnamon's Bay. I can't wait to return ☺️

You might know it very well, some time to time I'm used to watch live streaming from St John beach bar and the bay is gorgeous! Found it randomly on some live cameras here on youtube and St John looks so great after some watched videos. Been only on St Thomas twice as cruise stop but next time in the Caribbean, definitely I'll give a try to St John and its beautiful beaches. Great video, thanks for sharing! :)

Nice video. A few things to note: 1. Don't get a full face snorkel. They're responsible for a lot of drownings. Get fitted for a real set and either rent or buy. 2. Be sure to hit the windmill bar for dinner at sunset and live music. 3. If you're interested in an affordable vacation to the carribean, check out cinnamon bay campground. You won't get closer to the beach for anywhere near the price it is to camp there. But you are camping. 4. Go check out Coco Jim's and get yourself the best painkiller on the island. 5. Go to The Beach Bar, get the conch fritters, crab wontons, and bushwacker, and get the shirt (or the hat)!

As someone who has sailed the US and British VI since 1973 and been on Youtube right from the start (I remember being in Amsterdam in July of 2005 in a particular coffeeshop that had free computers and internet looking at Youtube) this is the first video of the East end of St. John, particularly Coral Bay, that I have seen. Thank you. BTW Hawksnest used to be very hard to get to, it used to be a beach you could take someone for privacy. Both places I have not spent time at really, despite living on STT 1981 to 1990. Oh, and Lam-Ah-Sure,

Last weekend we went to St John, Lazarus and Kusu Islands in Singapore. There are no places to buy food so you can carry your own food.
For your vacation, you can visit these amazing islands and spend the whole day also can do sea bathing, barbequing and reading a book while taking a long breath of nature.
These islands are immaculate and beautiful. So please bring your trash back home or put it in dustbins only.
You have to go to Marina South Pier to take the Ferry (There are 2 Ferry services)

Ticket for Ferrie - 10$ pp as of 31/12/2022
MRT - Red Line (Marina South Pier)
