Downtown Houston Tunnel System

If you have not done this before, it's an exciting new adventure. It's always fun to tour Houston's underground tunnel system. It's situated 20 feet below street level 6 miles long that connects 95 city blocks. The tunnels are an excellent means to bypass traffic and street lights when going from one building to another, making travel time less and an easier commute. It's also a great way for everyone to avoid the heat and enjoy the air conditioned tunnels. For locals wanting to enjoy a cool walk to some of the delightful restaurants while in the tunnels, there is a wide selection to choose from.

This was a stunning look at the subterranean wonder that IS the Downtown Houston Tunnel System! This was a charming; suspenseful; eye opening; and stylishly artistic view of a truly brilliant and practical way to go from one building to another! I was blown away by how everything was set up! It was a clever cross between an airport terminal; with a subway; coupled with a museum; and a mall! I wonder if this is a system unique to Houston? You have definitely sparked an interest with me for this delightful and exciting new adventure! I look forward to seeing more magnificent metropolis moments! As always, the most charming part of the whole video, is seeing Richard explore the scenery; and especially seeing you and him give that warm and charming Thanksgiving greeting!
