One thing that's pretty unique about Bluey is it doesn't portray the kids imagining things and "magical" like other shows do. It's literally just them playing

I love how the parents in Bluey actually have names that aren't "mom" or "dad"

I don't have kids but I was surprised to hear that parents felt like Chili and Bandit were setting the bar too high considering there's quite a lot of moments where there's real attention on the adults struggles? There's a whole episode where they're too tired to move from the floor, there's an episode where they keep getting distracted from doing the housework they hate, an episode where they struggle to be romantic until they accept that it's out of their hands now that their life is so tiring but that doesn't mean they can't have a great time together. Faceytime is ostensibly about Muffin hogging but in the background her parents have a real talk about how her dad feels like he doesn't get to do any of the parenting bc Trixie always takes over and "hogs all the parenting". There's a grouchy grandfather who Chili has to get real with and tell him that he needs to take better care of himself bc she still needs him, there's a hint at difficult pregnancies and an uncle who works on an oil rig so he's never around and doesn't really have any connections with people other than his brothers families.
The show is PACKED with real adult issues that make it feel like they're not perfect, they've not got it all worked out, they're stumbling through this while making the best choices they can moment to moment, and I love it!

One thing that hit me really hard was when Bingo was trying to do a hand stand and told herself, clearly in the form of someone else having told her before, to "Try again bingo"

Her internal monologue is caring and encouraging because her PARENTS are caring and encouraging.

Bluey is about as wholesome & innocent as you can get lmao. Disney’s censors are hilariously unnecessary 😂

The scene where it implies the mom had a miscarriage is amazing. It really made the show that much important to parents.

As a parent of a 4 year old, Bluey has been a godsend. I swear all the other shows on Disney+ just put my kid into that weird Cocomelon trance, but with Bluey, she can watch it and still have attention to do puzzles, or draw pictures, and talk to me about the show and such. I feel like Bluey encourages kids to actually use their imaginations. Plus, to be honest the show has taught me how to be a better parent as well, like just reminding me to sometimes slow down and be more patient, and remembering to have fun because these years when they’re little go by so fast.

I didn't start watching Bluey until I lost my father of last year due to covid. He was my hero, best friend, and rock in my entire life. Loosing him was like losing a huge chunk of my heart that was violently ripped from me. Everything reminded me of him, the shows we watch, the music we listened to, the places we visited. I got into Bluey a few months after when I saw clips on youtube. I found episodes online and started watching and fell in love.

One episode, "Promise", hit me like a truck. At the end when Bandit watches his daughters sleep, and softly tells them, "I promise to always love you." I cried; I cried as if it was my own father telling me those words. I am fully dedicated to the show as it was a huge comfort whenever I missed him and needed something to ground me during horrible days without him. Bandit reminds me of my dad and seeing how he is with Bluey and Bingo reminds me of the days he raised me and my sisters.

I watch this show with my three nieces and play the same games we see on the show. This show is a huge comfort and really helped me through the dark first year without my dad. It's an amazing series for all ages and has insane heartfelt episodes. Please go watch and support this show everyone!! You will LOVE it!!

The irony of "curse you" being censored when it was literally one of Doofenshmirtz's catchphrases in Phineas and Ferb....which is a disney property.

I find it so funny that Disney censored the word "Fr*nce" like a riot was going to begin as soon as the French were brought up in a children's show.
Edit : I sincerely apologize to those triggered by this word. I will be fixing it now, in order to protect the children.

Personally, this show reminds me of Arthur. That show handled serious topics such as cancer, divorce, and even death in a gentle manner kids could understand. It also taught kids various religions and cultures. Not to mention the parents of the children in the show had their own names and personalities too like the parents in Bluey. Now that Arthur has ended after being on the air for over 20 years, I think it’s safe to say Bluey is the perfect show to carry the torch so to speak.

As a preschool educator myself, I see Bluey as a prime example of what it means to be a person. And really in preschool education that's all we're teaching kids- how to be human. I think the unnecessary censorship is a self conscious decision from those who don't really understand the mind behind a child at a preschool educational level- and instead focus on a level of parental input. STOP CENSORSHIP for parents!!! The show is for children.

It’s amazing that Bluey uses actual children to voice their child characters. Something even better is those voices are not in the credits to protect the kids and their privacy :, )

What I like about bluey is how representative it is. So many different 'people', disabilities portrayed, mental health or feeling comfortable and normal, how to actually have healthy relationships, ect... It's important that kids are exposed to that kind of stuff

I love that the jokes aimed towards adults aren't perverted. They are just funny and relatable.

As someone who cannot have kids, the only full episode I have watched so far is the episode with Brandi, and it absolutely KILLED me. Never thought that a kids show would make me cry. So many times pregnancy losses and inability to have children are seen as a flaw on part of the woman. But this show handled it in such a kind, honest, and appropriate manner. That's it's okay and there is nothing wrong with you for not having kids, whether you can't have them or don't want them. I love this show.

Finally, a pre-school cartoon that is NOT loud and annoying, a "forced-tablet watch, " and something that's not an "agenda-driven" turd disguised as a kid show.
It's genuine!!

The fact that Disney couldn't have a 2D horse poop in a show on their streaming service.. Yet not only had real life/live action horse poop in a theatrical release but in the foreground (Pinocchio 2022) for a joke is just wild man.
