Maybe use American measurements and weights. Sometimes it’s annoying. Had a stoke and all of the one world “ideas” disappeared. So relearning is tough. But got the American measurements and weights down 😊

Accuracy doesnt seem to trouble you too much! @ 2.43 u say it takes 10 minutes to walk from one end of the platform to the other which would suggest a distance of half a mile. That span, given the supports and proportions seems a bit ridiculous. Might be an idea to include somebody with a bit of a construction background in the writing staff or at least someone with a bit of common sense.
