I found it very hard in the beginning to find a pwm module because the reviews were very mixed, this helped clear it up a lot! Thanks!

Still hoping the PWM control hack is coming soon. This seems to be the only motor controller that might work in my project for less than $150...but arduino control is critical. Thank you VERY much for all the info and your efforts!

Hello Ahmad, I bought this unit a couple weeks a go and tested it at 20 amps on resistive load. It is warming up around same area than yours. I was questioning it the heat was generated by the relay or copper traces underneath. Your tests are confirming I should not rely on it for the sawmill I'm working on unless a fan makes all the difference. BTW, mine shows about 3 sec ramp up time (soft start) when I turn it on with the pot. I would not recommend to change motor direction without first turning the pot to 0 or off on a bigger motor. Tks for the video

I watch your every video, nice information in each video.

60A is a no go without active cooling. Some of these do come with an enclosure. For trolling motors that does a full draw at 30A I guess it's fine.

Hey Ahmad, I'm using one of these controllers for a kid's power wheels toy vehicle. The problem I'm having is that the throttle pedal is just an on/off switch and I'm using the knob for speed control. In this case once the throttle pedal is released the car brakes violently because the controller shorts the motor windings at rest. I believe I could use a power resistor between the 2 pins normally shorted at rest on the relay to soften this? With there being 2 relays on this controller due to the forward/reverse selector do you know how/where to put the resistor so that it would brake softly in both directions? Thanks!

I bought such a driver for an 1162W on 24v (48A) outboard. Hope I didn't make a mistake. It's nice that you shared your test - I think you should, however, load the controller with a more powerful motor to check the actual strength of the system. (google translate)

Thanks Ahmed
Very Good job man very good 👍
Waiting for the Arduino

I purchased this controller but what happened with me is that when i increased voltage to 20 voltage without load schottkey diode gets burn, please give me feedback on this matter.

Would it be possible to run two or even three of these paralleled at the outputs? Also the speed control wire in parallel to always run them all at the same speed

I want to know that when i connect motor of 24vdc 90w . And at full load can i change switch position, relay will damage after how much time i switch from 1-0-2 respite ( cycle test of relay ) . from my experience it will work for 1000 to 2000 time at full load .

Hi Ahmad. Did you ever get a chance to make the video about using this controller with PWM from arduino? It would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Hello, good evening, friend, this module does work with a 1000w 11A 15khz motor, and I have seen that it is installed on a small electric vote

thank you for this interesting test/review. i was planning to get one of these but now i see why it will not work for me. Is there a driver for the FET when you disconnect 555?

Hey there, what about hack using this module via arduino. (should we cut output of 555 timer pin 3 and sold a wire same)

I have blown up two of these units using them fot HHO gas Generation max 25 amp 12v
I was Trying to fix them. on one the three number led gets very hot were you able to identify the driver chip.
I looked at a Tm1637 but this is for a 4 number led any help would be appreciated.

Hey, does these boards need diode across relays coil?
