I have used City Lips for a long while on top on non-transferring Maybelline Super Stay 24 liquid lipstick. It doesn’t move with City Lips on top but also doesn’t feel tight or painful as some like Mac do. I do usually start over at the end of the day for an evening out but it even holds up under a mask. My husband loves that color doesn’t rub off on him.

I have very thin lips. If it does any plumping it's absolutely imperceptible on me, BUT, it hydrates better than anything I've ever used and stays on for hours! For that alone I'll keep purchasing it. I wear Nude York during the day and clear at bedtime. I'm trying Sun Diego this time as well.

Thanks for the heads up! I picked up clear and Tinsel Town last time you recommended it. I don't find it plumps much at all, certainly nothing like the exaggerated photo they advertise on social media. But it smooths out my lip lines, defines my lip border, and is thick giving a fuller lip appearance. It is a great long lasting gloss. I love it! I like to wear it over the lip stain you recommended 💋
