Thai street foods you MUST EAT - THAI STREET FOOD TOUR | Food and Travel Channel | Bangkok

Thailand is synonymous with fantastic street food. In this video we take you on a Thai Street Food tour of some of the most common street foods you will find when you're in Thailand.

We incude:
- moo ping or pork skewers
-Thai coffee and Thai milk tea
-noodle soup
-fresh fruit
-khao man gai or chicken rice
-skewers
-khanom krok or coconut griddle cakes

Thai street food is very safe to eat. We have visited Thailand over 15 times and we eat on the street 95% of the time as the best food is found here and the atmosphere is great.

If you can't speak Thai don't worry, we find just pointing and a smile works very well. If you're unsure of the price just hand over a 100THB note or a 50THB and you'll get the correct change back. After eating Thai street food a bit you'll start to notice that prices are pretty much standard across items and you'll learn to gauge very quickly how much things should be.

We hope this Thai street food tour video has inspired you to eat and explore like a traveler, not a tourist.

You're so right Thomas. Many people who get sick eating food overseas usually get sick from eating hotel food or restaurant food but almost never street food. I never got sick from street food and just love it. I love this video, it's one of my favourites actually. well done Thomas & Sheena :)

My ALL time favorite comment from tourists "l only ate at the Hotel because its safe" yeah right... just because you cant see it, doesnt mean its clean or hygenic. Hotel buffets are breading groumds for bacteria! Id pick a busy street vendor any day. Great simple video👍

Hi there Sheena and Thomas! Stumbled upon your videos when it showed up on my YouTube home page! Your videos are so well made! It's descriptive, informational, and fun! I love how you input the price of all the dishes as well. Japan, Thailand and Singapore are also my favorite countries for eatin'! Thank you for taking your time and making these videos.

I'm Thai and spent years living aboard. I remember the first time when I came back to visit my family in Bangkok, ate everything (seriously and literally everything) and had a minor food poisoning. The doctor told me I should have gone 'a little bit easy' on the first couple days. Because my body hadn't got used to with the Asian germ yet (Unless you had traveled to other countries around Thailand before). Your body needs time to adjust. A good advice is buying some 'activated charcoal' from a local pharmacy in Bangkok and take one or two on the first few days. Just in case, or like the doctor said 'go easy.' And as Thomas and Sheena said, have fun and try them all :)

"We don't know how to say 'no sugar' in Thai so..." 😂😂😂

I missed out on Khao Man Gai because the two most popular places in Bangkok were packed both times I tried to get in. 😬 My common street food favorites were...

-Moo Ping - definitely
-Bamee Haeng / Bamee Nam - egg noodles dry / egg noodles soup
-Jok - rice porridge (favorite breakfast)
-Khao Kha Moo - braised pork shank made famous by Cowboy Lady in Chiang Mai
-Moo Grob - crispy pork on rice
-Khanom Jeep - steamed dumplings quite similar to shumai
-Pad Kra Pao Gai, Khai Dao - chicken and holy basil with fried egg on rice

I could go on...the abundance of delicious food in Bangkok is remarkable indeed. Really fun day...excellent recommendations and advice. 👍

I think you can make videos of the Thai food for years. It all looks so delicious and tasteful. And we will watch them all until the moment we also go to Thailand. ;-)

I miss Bangkok! I ate better than I ever did in my life there for two weeks on less than a trip to the grocery store here. I wish I could tell you what we had, but I just pointed to pictures everywhere we ate! I was really surprised to see local line up around the block at a KFC! Have fun guys!
