Thanks, that was interesting. I would love to go. What about the language? Was English spoken widely?

Georgia is now in a "slide". Prices of rent are on the rise while the quality of rentals in Tbilisi and Batumi may have more in common with rentals in Cairo or Istanbul (spacious but poorly maintained plumbing and electricity). WiFi is great if you have it in your home/office but if you are outside moving about, WiFi isn't so great. Basically it's safe, cheap and friendly. *Most businesses, especially restaurants have very poor customer service skills. For People of Color, you will notice some discrete staring and being followed in stores after 10pm. For Muslims, there is a subtle Islamophobia in the society that a foreigner may not experience but Georgians do. It's a great place to stay (for a year)!

Hey man, are we able to rent cars in Georgia. Considering public transport isn't the best especially if you want to venture out of Tbilisi...

Hello friend.
I'm interested in DM Visa. Do you think I can get PR in Georgia on DM Visa?

I'm currently here, and this video doesn't reflect the reality. The experience has been very different—mostly encountering LGBT+ Russians, eccentric individuals, and people asking for money, even in upscale areas like Vake. The locals don’t seem particularly friendly (this is based on feedback from four friends living here, including Germans, Brazilians, and Russians). If you're poor and need to save pennies there's at least 30 destinations better than Georgia, I'd recommend Latin America over Georgia—it's ten times better

Digital nomad visa is shut down if I’m not mistaken so you have to pay 1% taxes I believe
