My mother passed away over five years ago. I had a dream recently about her moving and she forgot a pair of shoes. It was a big deal because we were so careful to pack them all. It's been on my mind off-and-on and so I asked God why did I dream that. Today I was lead here after watching Shawn Ryan and a guy talking about Adam Brown on YouTube. I searched YouTube for Adam Brown and this pops up. Thank you for sending shoes to the children in Afghanistan.

Got my faith back because of this guy. Cannot believe such a nice  dude who is such a loving father became one of the top badasses in the world. After hearing about his eye and hands problem, I thought he would quit. Nope, SEAL team SIX got him. True hero.

I only wish that I could have met Adam. I read the book in one sitting and I must admit that I do not cry that often but this book brought me tears numerous times. He was a true professional that loved his family and country. Since the first time that I read the book I had to read it two more times. I grew up in a Navy family but did not get to server because of medical conditions so I have can not relate to what our heroes go through but I admire all of these special people. Adam was a true hero and inspiration. A must read.
