Hi Tara! I tried out this formulation and it turned out “grainy” in texture. I was disappointed at first, but I found a solution. Just wanted to share how this happened and how I solved it in case anyone else runs into this problem. It’s due to the allantoin ingredient that is in the heated water phase. Once it cools down, it crystallizes and becomes “grainy”. To prevent this, I added it to the cool down ingredients and then to the mixture. Now the formulation is creamy and smooth!
