For over 30 years, the Nobels ODR-1 overdrive pedal has become a renowned classic and has developed cult-like status among guitarists worldwide. Seen as an indispensable staple in many professional setups, the pedal has become an industry standard that is widely imitated, but seldom surpassed.

Meet the new ODR-1X

The new Nobels ODR-1X is the next generation of this now legendary overdrive, heralding a new chapter in the Nobels overdrive legacy. Due to popular demand, a convenient external bass cut pot has been added, as well as the option to change between true bypass or buffered bypass. For hi-gain aficionados, a new switchable hi-gain boost is also now available. This is capable of transforming ODR-1X into a true hard rock monster. With the ability to control both the gain boost and on/off remotely, along with the unique SPECTRUM tone control, fold-out Mounty-P mounting plates and knobs with fluorescent ‘Glow in the Dark’ pointers, the ODR-1X adds worthwhile flexibility and utility to a time-tested favourite.

• Natural Analog Overdrive Effects Pedal
• New Variable Bass Cut knob - helps to tame and adjust the low end
• Remote input jack - allows the pedal to be controlled remotely
• Spectrum Tone control - double filter tone control that simultaneously cuts/boosts bass and
treble frequencies
• New Switchable between True Bypass and Buffered Bypass via internal switch
• New Gain Boost switch with remote control option
• Overhead battery compartment - allows for quick battery changes
• Glow in the Dark pointer knobs
• Includes 4x integrated Mounty-P Mounting Plates
• Powered by a regular 9~18 V DC PSU or PP3 9V Battery

I have the 2nd generation with the inner bass switch. I stack it with the NOTAKLON. Great combination.

I'm going to replace the 30th anniversary one on my board with one of these, so I can keep it pristine.

Amazing! The 30th gold version I have on my board is easily the best-sounding ODR-1 I've used (including an old silver one that sounded amazing, the new green one, the mini, and a bunch of different pedals based on it), but I have to have it in a true bypass loop on my board because the buffer sounds so bad with my rig when it's off (just like the silver and green ones I've had before) - so if this is really the same circuit as the gold one but with a true bypass option, it's pretty much an insta-buy from me! How did it take you so long to add that, guys? 😛

Is the gain boost on this version the same as the ODR-1 Plus?

How does this compare (circuit wise) to the Odr-1 gold 30th anniversary?

So the true bypass is actually true bypass?

When it’s on too?

Werden beide Pedale einen ähnlichen Preis haben wie ihre Vorgänger?

NOBEL, You should have added a 2nd footswitch to have a "country studio EQ tone" for to have a different VOICING TWANG OPTIONS for telecasters and stratocaster bridge pickups + middle pickup configuration. Try to make an ODR-1X 2.0 next NAMM show

I own the pedal and it is horribel. The gain boost is garbage. Just get the mini for half the cost.
