Does the LA Girl white mixer still give the same dewiness and luminosity as the other colors in the line and it will alter another foundation such as one that is really matte to make it more dewy or give it a satin finish or is it just simply a lightener??

the LA girl one is hands down AMAZING. compared to my body shop one, that was my favorite. you can even use it on its own to "pale" up your face (aka harley quinn, mavis, vampire/halloween makeup) its fantastic, and for its price? phenomenal. lots of bang for your buck 😂🙌🏼

I have very light skin and could never find a foundation that would match my skintone. I have been using the NYX white foundation mixer. Have not had any problems with it....finally the cosmetic companies are coming out with so many shade choices. I am going to try the LA Girl's mixer....wish they had been available year's ago.

I’m definitely going to try some of these. I’ve been Porcelain or Light all my life, but after some health problems I’m finding that everything looks too dark (or even orange) on me. It’s really been very upsetting. I’m not sure if it’s me or if several companies have moved a little darker.

The reason why some doesn't mix well is some are oil based and some are water based. If you use the oil one then mix it with oil base foundation and water with water based. At least that is what Taylor Wynn explained it as. Which makes sense because that is how regular paint works.

Can you use the LA girl with concealer as well or is it best to purchase the light concealer in the tube? Also will it work with the Kosas oil foundation?

I wonder if this could be the way of the future. We always here about companies being criticized because of lack of shade ranges. What if a company only had a few undertones in a medium shade and you get either a lightener or darkener free with that shade. I feel like savings could be passed onto the consumer. Seems to make more sense.
