2 Chicago police officers, suspect shot in Homan Square

Two police officers and a suspect were shot early Sunday morning in Homan Square.

Officers did what they could to arrest the suspect without shooting but as a result the suspect shot first and two officers are down.

This is incredibly sad because after listening to this story, if accurate, they most likely did not shoot this person because they were worried of societal backlash. He had a gun and was refusing to comply, those are huge red flags.
