Clip from the 2nd period of a Bruins-Canadiens game at the Boston Garden on Oct. 30, 1986. Trailing 1-0, the Bruins score two quick goals to take the lead, but Montreal answers with a fluky goal to tie it up. Firewagon 1980s hockey at its best.

Fred Cusick calling the game. The best.

When Fred Cusick says Score it's just the BEST!

So odd seeing a goalie just drop his stick to the ice after a good shot and goal.

Good ol' days before hundreds of kids in the audience begging for pucks and sticks

The goalies back then were so a Patrick Roy who was the best goalie when the Avs won the cup during 'modern' hockey. Never mind.

Bruins sweat blood to score, and Montreal throws garbage at the net, from A Garbageman.

The Bs TV booth on TV38 never had a better tandum than Mr. Fred Cusick and Mr. Johnny Pierson... period. NESN does a great and splendid job in hockey over the 60+ odd years and counting. But Fred and John were a cut above all the rest, ..."COMBIND". Of all the sports personalities I have met from THE Bs, Cs, Pats, & Sox or etc.. . Fred Cusick was #1 over and above "ALL". I met him at the OLD GARDEN in the Bs Pro-Shop selling his book. It was 'soooo kooool' and so awesome to meet the one and only 'Uncle Fred'. I very seldem missed a game!! God Bless all, 🥅🏒KingHockeyMan 🏒🥅
