Feel like you’re favoring Volk’s heart too much over his skill set. Obviously he’s very hungry, I think the Max fights enflamed that with everyone constantly rooting for his opponent but he is absolutely one of the most technically skilled fighters in the sport. His ability to read his opponent and make mid-fight adjustments is unreal, he completely nullified Yair’s kicks by using them to get take downs (7!) and timed his distance so well he beat him on the feet and caught him perfectly with the right cross after the kick which led to the finishing sequence. Volk has a lot of heart, but I feel like it’s bit disrespectful to diminish his enormous skill level.

It's not just how bad Volk wants it. He's got a crazy fight IQ, great striking, great takedowns, phenomenal ground n pound. You keep selling his skills short. He outclassed your boy thru and thru. Yet you still say Yair is better overall? Dude you are clowning right now

Volk is just more skilled than all the fighters in the division. Nothing to do with heart and 'wanting it more'.
Max is a distant second😢, then everybody else.
Can't discredit his skill because you like another fighter.

Usually love your work man but this isn’t your best. Yair didn’t get going because Volk negated all his work. Stance switching, pressure, overwhelming wrestling and GNP. All around, the much better mixed martial artist and proved that. Don’t let your bias get in the way of some of your much better work!

Volkk is already one of the best talents in the game and he's about 2 big wins away from being up there with DJ Jones, GSP, Khabib (take your dominant champ pick) and if he keeps improving he could be even better lol excited to see how the next couple years go
