In this video I discuss how influencers and celebrities are completely out-of-touch with the realities of most Americans, who are currently in the midst of a housing crisis, staggering inflation and rising gas prices that is making it difficult to afford groceries.

Not only are these influencers out of touch, they're being scammed. No matter how healthy or organically grown the food is at Erewhon, the margin of nutritional value between it and what you can get at a normal grocery store probably isn't that wide. Those people aren't paying exorbitant amounts of money just for the food, they're also paying for the presentation.

6:57 that EXACT brand and size of syrup is like $14 at my local cheapo grocery store. Even at the more expensive grocery store in town it’s like $18. They’re literally tripling the price just because they can, it’s insane.
