26/30… diamonds can have different colors from neighboring minerals and as a result can’t possibly always be 100% carbon. To say that bananas don’t grow on trees is a bit odd. I’m pretty sure they don’t grow on animals or minerals… I would think the body of a hibernating snail would be so deprived of food and minerals that when it finally woke up and tried to eat, it’s digestive tract would be so easily torn up the snail would perish shortly thereafter (and I’ve never had the time to watch a snail for three years straight anyways; how about you?)
