Basically a legend, a LIVING legend! 10 Podiums in F1, numerous front row starts, and won the GP2 Series in 2011! As well as GP2 Asia (basically Asia F3 now) his hair in 2009 was very questionable though....

Awesome video! You did Romain proud 😊 Always lovely hearing from Dan and I learned loads about RoGro's junior career! SO Impressive. He is such a nice guy I know he will endear himself to Indy fans instantly 😊 His pace alone will be fascinating to see in the 2021 season. So excited to experience his IndyCar journey 😁 Go get 'em Romain 👊

I'm really happy for Grosjean being in Indycar as it fits his driving style better and with his experiance as a F1 driver it could give him the edge. And now he's with Andretti he could potentially be a champion or Indy500 winner in my eyes.

Really enjoyed the callable with you guys and Dan, this video did a great job in highlighting Gro's racing career so far and why people should not sleep on his ability to drive for wins if given the right machinery.

I have a lot of hope for him in Indy. I think the lack of power steering and the closer field fostered by the spec chassis will play to his strengths. I live in St. Petersburg, Florida, and when three-day grandstand tickets go on sale next Thursday, I have money saved and plan to be waiting online to snag a couple. If he so much as top tens, so much as finishes, I want to be there to see it at the line. It's racing history, and I can't miss it.

As you know I'm a huge Romain fan 😊, he is such a nice guy off track, in his earlier days at lotus he was one of the best drivers in the grid at some points and has come out at some points at Haas, I'm really excited to see what he can in indy with Dale Coyne and hope he can get some wins and podiums

Firstly, Romain is one lucky person. His shunt in Bahrain was the stuff of nightmares and not long ago would likely have been fatal. That said, call me paranoid for finding things like this eerily familiar to the late 80's/90's. Having been a fan back in the day, I can remember seeing CART's popularity peak and then wane as increasingly it came to be seen as a stepping stone to and from F1.

As a series based in the US, I'll address the gorilla in the room, foreign drivers have no natural fan following here. Fans are more likely to cheer for fellow countrymen. That's not xenophobic, it just is. I would never expect a German to root against Vettel, a Brit to boo Hamilton, or a Dutchman to heckle Verstappen. Many drivers have transplanted to the US and become beloved, Luyendyk, Power, Franchitti, and Castroneves to name but a few. A lot of it depends upon you success and your interaction with the fans. I have no quarrel with RoGro for doing this and Coyne can hire who he wants, it just puts out the vibe that Indycar is a "retirement home" for F1 drivers. I hope these concerns are proven baseless and that Grosjean enjoys success., he seems a pretty decent guy.

When he was chucked out F1 the first time he went off and showed what he could do, Won Races, Championships, F2, A1GP. He is capable of winning the Indy Championship, time will tell.

Certainly look forward to seeing what he can do across the pond.

I think he can do big things in IndyCar.
If things go well, could he be attempting a full-time seat for 2022?
But it's too early to speculate that.

And now for an impartial career review let's get a massive fan to do it who doesn't mention any of his glaring mistakes and bans 😐
