Meet Erin: Gerontology Program Grad and Nursing Student

Hear from Erin, who says online and in-person classes are both great choices!

So I am actually a HACC alumni. I graduated in 2017 with a degree in gerontology. And I loved my experience at HACC that was a totally online program, which was really nice. I was working full time and it was just a really wonderful program. I had wonderful professors, just very accepting and honest and really wanted you to succeed. Because I had such a positive experience at HACC and because I loved it so much, I decided to come back and pursue my RN. So, this time around is a little bit different because I'm on campus, all day, every day. [laughs] Both experiences have been really wonderful, being an online student and being a physical student, but they've been different and it's just been a good experience overall. You can do anything that you want to do, no matter what has happened, or no matter what is happening, or no matter what might happen. But you have the ability to achieve any dream that you set out to, maybe not in the exact specific way that you want to, but you can do it.
