A lot of people don't know that his father, Malcolm H. Kerr, was assassinated in Beirut, Lebanon in 1984. He was the president of the American University of Beirut. Steve's family has been entrenched in helping the disenfranchised. I've seen him grow from a sharp shooting guard at the University of Arizona, to a gold medal winning coach for Team USA. He has ALWAYS spoken out about the travesties in this world and civil rights. Love this cat 🙂
