The sheer amount of confidence Wario has in this game was strangely comforting to me as a child despite me being horrified of the bosses. Wario’s demeanor made me feel like I could win.

Wario stares down jacked monster dudes, dinosaurs, dragons, giant spiders, and all kinds of eldritch horrors and just flexes on them all the entire time.

He’d yell “IM’MA NUMBA ONE!” before beating these nightmares to death barehanded, all the while further insulting them by telling them to leave or telling them to have an awful day.

And then after all that punching? Time for some straight up raw cloves of garlic. Bad ass.

This game is SO underrated. Seriously. The effects were awesome, great level design, very unique boss designs, great soundtrack, challenging, LOTS to collect... I truly wish this game got more love, since it truly deserves it!

Does anyone remember how if you fell off the map in the game, you ended up in this weird place where ghost dogs chase you and shake the cash off you, the water makes you lose your cash, and you have to keep breaking crates until you find a spring to get back up? What was up with this game?
