That duck tail spoiler completely changed the rear end. Amazing how something as simple as a spoiler change can make a car look that much better. Black out those rear tail lights and you truly have a stunning looking automobile.

Bad ass looks goes with bad ass performance. The video of the 10 speed car on the track gives you a great sense of how the close ratio gearing always keeps the ZL1 in it's power band and makes the driver feel as though they're shifting an F1 car.

On that small track the 10 speed was 1.92 seconds faster over the 8 speed on average without any surprises. When you want the tail out just add gas and it will gradually start to drift. My brother has been a GM engineer for 44 years. He started as a lot boy at 15 on summer breaks, went to UCLA as all my family did, while there he was offered a spot as an intern at GM's hands on summer engineering course and has not looked back.

For 38 of those years he's worked for Chevrolet performance exclusively. He was one of the first to drive the 16 ZL1 last summer with the 10sp and says that Trans is so fun to drive on track because it turns the driver into a bigger part of making the car go fast while turning drifting into something that anyone can accomplish in an afternoon.

Having cut nearly 2 seconds off lap times on a medium sized road course with just a Trans swap is nuts and while Chevrolet is starting to get back it's performance edge with some innovative engineering all I can see in the future is fun times at Chevy.

Can't wait for the Zora ZR1 Corvette, mid engine, under 3000lbs (a little birdy told me around 2800lbs) with around 650hp, 10sp manumatic or 7sp manual and possibly an AWD model I think things at Chevrolet are going to be crazy fast.

Something else, for you people who have not seen in person the 2016 Camaro interior I was blown away by how integrated everything is, unlike the Mustangs interior and especially the dash which looks like two different designers did the dash while the others did the door panels that meet the dash, the interior looks mismatched and to busy with different shapes all over the place to go along with a horrible steering wheel.

The Camaro on the other hand has a dash that flows into the doors which flow into the back seat area.The dash with the large center A/C round vents that have the outside bezels used as the control for the A/C heat! It looks great not having all those different A/C knobs and switches.

The dash is so clean but has so many innovations. some think the lighting inside is cheesy but those are the people that have not sat in the car at night while working the lighting because it really makes the interior pop.

Hanging out at your local car spot and showing off the lighting is what most 16 to 35 year olds would have no problem doing. The best Interior feature along with the customizable gauges is the flat bottom steering wheel that is now my favorite by far, the materials used and the feel is fantastic with the right amount of grip without making your hands sweat. Either of the seat choices you can't go wrong with and the center console looks so much better with push nobs for the electric park brake and traction control/magnetic ride.

I don't know why people like a cluttered dash and interior. I love the slick lines of a dash with many hidden features that flow around you while both the Mustangs and the horrible Challengers dash look like after thoughts.

do you guys know if the 1LE will be available on the 2SS? I know the display one is the 1SS but is that just for display reasons or is it not coming to the 2SS? That will seriously determine if I get a camaro or not!
