Astral Warrior - Soft OPT; You could Pen Summon 3 of these things, then us two of their effects, go into a Link or Xyz or whatever to clear at least 1, then use the third’s effect to get another Warrior out. Its a soft OPT ROTA that Specials instead of adds. Pretty good.

Celestial Beast - You could blow it up and get its second effect off. Also, cool that you can Special 1 monster from its archetype. Not OPT, so if you could keep bringing it out, you can keep Specialing.

Celestial Sage - Yes, basically just Celestial Warrior, but I like that it’s Fairys and negates their effect. Plus, it has just a blanket “destroyed by battle or card effect”, so you could blow this thing up yourself. Maybe get a Herald for a Drytron deck or something like that.

Thunderous Dragon - Oh lord. It’s the light dragon ruler. This is really good. That’s it. Really good. Might be banned, but seems like a cool final boss anime monster from the YGO anime.

Astral Titan - I like that it banishes cards, and can be Specialed pretty freely. Also, she’s got HUGE….tracts of land. She’s got a big booty. And high Defense. ;)

Mystic Sage - Bruh. Ultimate soft OPT. At least the first is Normal Summoned. This would be abused and banned so fast. Also, looks like an El Shaddoll monster. The first photo looks like very old school YGO art.

Celestial beast as a card is as if there was a card just named "subterror" or "generaider" but yeah thats like harpy lady so good point. What makes it odd is the restriction on its own name.

That Waifu Obelisk is more powerful than the real God Cards but not the broken kind. If it hits the field, it has the presence in that your opponent has to deal with it. Mystic Sage is an auto include for any spell heavy or control deck. No question.

I am bored, so I am now going to try to use the AI to create a Celestial Beast Archetype. I asked it to create a Spell card of the Archetype and got this.

I remember when OpenAI's playground came out all I used it for was creating AI generated archetypes, where I gave them the name of a made-up archetype and they would spit out the name, archetypal effect and other details. One that stood out to me was the "With Drums of Steel" archetype, where it tried (and somewhat succeeded.?) making an archetype based on Brazilian mythology and had shared effects of adding a Drums of Steel monster from the grave to the hand, being able to special summon a Drums of Steel monster from your grave after battle destruction, and gaining an additional effect if there are x or more Drums of Steel monsters on the field. Another cool one was the Steel Tooth archetype, where they all could destroy one monster that was in attack or defense mode (depended on the monster) as they attacked it, and could reduce their atk or def (again card dependent) to 0 give some battle related effect, like attacking directly or being unable to be destroyed by battle. They also tried to do a ritual archetype based on irish mythology but that one was rather weak.

- One could probably make a yugioh version of Magic's un-sets with insane effects
