I decided to capture gameplay in 1440p ULTRA settings to assure highest possible performance. Unfortunately when I set Ultra settings in 4K I could reach barely 40 fps on my setup. Tis mod without any upscallers is heavy resource demanding!

Please also note this video has an FPS counter visible in upper right corner. Unfortunately this game is highly unstable whenever I enabled MSI Afterburner.

Mods made anomaly a next gen game. Now stalker 2 is already next gen. Imagine what mods would make of it in times to come.

Ну что сказать, люмены и прочие прелести анрила в сталкере 2 делают свое дело, все таки сколько графических аддонов на аномали не ставь, свет и некоторые текстуры не исправить. Но все же несколько кадров из аномали гораздо атмосфернее, сталкер 2 в некоторых местах уж слишком светлый и более "реалистичный"

While anomaly custom looks good here, the shadows in custom by default are way too dark. You can see the difference when compared to stalker 2 at 1:33 . Extremely dark shadows doesn't equal good graphics.

Wow, I'm impressed with how they reworked shadows and lumens in Stalker 2. Agroprom's underground shows that perfectly. I always hated undergrounds & walking by night in old Stalker, but now we'll see if I change my opinion in S2.

самое основное улучшение в графике это освещение, в старых частях всегда была проблема со слишком темными участками

Вот чего в аномали не хватает так это полигонов на обьектах окружения. Понятно что переделывать все модельки это титанический труд, но местами угловатость дает о себе знать. Вроде и графика хорошая, а глаз режет. А вот оружие в аномали отлично проработано, чувствуется импакт от выстрелов и движений, тоже можно сказать и о балансе. Весьма реалистично когда нпс умирают от пары пуль как и ГГ. Интересно что будет в Сталкер 2.

At a glance anomaly almost looks better then stalker 2 but when you are in game moving around you notice how flat everything is and how simple all the geometry is....

Honestly, modded anomaly is peak game, all it needs is better textures. Combine stalker 2 visuals with anomaly/gamma gameplay/mechanics and variety of weapons and its a masterpiece

"А вот при Сталине!" момент в комментах. Ну вот навертели свистоперделок на аномали - графика местами стала не такой дубовой, вот только движок на ладан дышит и из него выжали уже всё что можно было. Играем с 2К или 4К текстурами, приятным освещением и треугольными модельками пней и деревьев - красотища(но самое главное, что автор аномали и авторы графических модификаций не русофобы, а потому хаваем. Да и графика там не то что в этом вашем ждалкере 2 богомезрком, а своя родная!). Что касается второй части, то, имхо, нужно просто цветокор подкорректировать и будет та самая атмосфера сталкера

I think that everyone is actually on the same page when it comes to stalker2 graphics. They are more realistic, but the old games have a very distinct look. They used to have photorealistic textures, that were put on much more basic geometry. That's why the games look so special.

The trend in the AAA space is to create realistic graphics. I am sure that one day devs will realize that graphics are another form of expression and would use it. Cause now stalker2 really does look like one of the many UE5 games. Maybe mods can do something with it, but as of now it's not as realistic as unrecord, and it's not as atmospheric as the old games. It's still good, but with the downgrades from 2021 (which is ok imo), the game now looks kinda blurry and visually convoluted with all the vegetation. As everyone says, too realistic.
