Pastor died trying to save others in the water

A youth pastor and a young boy drowned during a trip along the Columbia River. It happened Wednesday afternoon at Marina Beach.

The boy will not be identified because of his age, the Hood River County Sheriff’s Office said. The youth pastor was identified as 44-year-old Andrew Inskeep. Inskeep's body was recovered by the sheriff's office on Thursday evening.

Other day 2 teenagers were killed in a Texas River and also from a sudden drop off from sandbar. Were in 3 feet of water wading and then suddenly was 30 feet. They were trying to save a 5 year old, who was saved by others thankfully. But the boys died in the attempt.
