This trip was absolutely incredible. After going to the Winds for the Cirque of the Towers last year, I knew I had to come back to this mountain range… The scenery is just so mindblowingly beautiful and it has easily become one of my favorite places to visit.

Not everything went to plan and I was nearly trampled by a moose lol, but I still have to say that it was the perfect trip!

Epic hike and great video! I am scheduled to go there myself at the end of August. I would love to set up my tent in Titcomb Basin itself, as you did, but I didn't see any trees in the video on which I could hang my bear bag. I don't want to lug the additional weight of a bear canister on my back for the length of a multi-day hike. If I had to guess, that's one of the reasons why most people set up camp at Seneca Lake, from which they do day hikes to Titcomb Basin without their packs and tents. But I have to admit that I think you scored a huge bonus in setting up your tent in the basin itself. But the bear canister gave you that flexibility.

beautiful man, I camped at photographers point, island lake and Titcomb basin on my last trip (vid on my channel). Its been 3 years and excited to say I will be back in September attempting the high route. That was a nice moose catch! I had a similar experience last you in CO. Giant animals!
