Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X (Cutscenes) (Cutscenes - X)

Mega Man X, also known as Megaman X and commonly known as "X", was created by Dr. Thomas Light an unknown number of years after the Mega Man series. X was a new type of robot with the ability to make his own decisions. Recognizing the potential danger of this model, Light sealed X away in a diagnostic capsule for over 30 years of testing. X's capsule was uncovered by an archaeologist named Dr. Cain almost 100 years after X's creation. Excited by the possibilities X presented, Cain disregarded the warnings Light had logged in the capsule and created a legion of new robots that replicated X's free will; these robots were called "Reploids"

However, a virus that caused Reploids to turn against humans began to spread. These Reploids were dubbed "Mavericks", and a force called the Maverick Hunters was formed to combat them. X took it upon himself to join the Maverick Hunters under leader Zero, another powerful robot, on a mission to save Earth from Sigma.

Wow... Gatha Mark really nailed this one greatly. He sounds like what I imagined him to be and him being angry at the last few bosses on the end game really sparked up the personality and how X feels.

The fact that X and Sigma were voiced by the same VAs that did Domon and Master Asia in G Gundam just makes X and Sigma's showdown all the more sweeter.

You know it’s a damn shame that Capcom didn’t take advantage of the superior voice acting and go back to redub X4 with these voice actors, as well as new dubbing for X5 and X6. Talk about a wasted opportunity.

Mark Gatha (X) and Lucas Gilbertson (Zero) are such amazing voice actors. Even though I think X8 is one of the best games in the series, I think one of the best things it blessed us with is the amazing voice talents of these voice actors.

I think Maverick Hunter X's ending is more bittersweet than the Snes version. Not to say that the original was bad, but the credits music kinda break the mood. Maverick Hunter X, however, made me feel bad for Dr Light and X. Mostly for Light because he created X, but he wouldn't be alive to see his project in action. X, on the other side, witnessed betrayal and loss for everyone and everything. He even lost Zero in this messy chaos. It makes sense that he wants to defeat Sigma. And seeing the games (not to mention Megaman Zero), it just got worse.

If only MegaMan Maverick Hunter X2 is made until MegaMan Maverick Hunter X: Command Mission. We would have get to watch all of the new anime cutscenes from all of those epic remake of MegaMan X series. Capcom will never get their facts right.

Back in last year (January specifically) I had just introduced myself to the series, and while I've never played this game, I've played X5 onwards but man Zero left the best first impression I could've wanted. I dunno it's just epic. It's hard leaving good impressions so well done!
