I have the same pillow. I use it almost every day in my truck and I'm off to kinder next week with it too. Love it, comfy.

Nice kit and setup. Have you checked out the ZenBivy light bed system. They have just restocked (customs charge was bad though!) I got the 25 degree version trying it out tomorrow

Love the gear, I'm always nosey as to what others are carrying. I'm looking into doing the Cape Wrath soon myself, too. Really enjoyed your series. Keep up the great work!

I have the original drop xmid 1p, bought it when they first came out.
Great tent. Only use the inner during the midge season. All other times just use the outer.
Also use 9inch eastons for the corners.
Had to swap out the corner cordage to 4mm dynema as the original snapped during high winds on munroe summit pitch, thought tent was going to blow away, spent a cold wet dark 30 min replacing the cordage.
Other than that its been a great tent

Great video robin, nice and clear and easy to follow. Have you thought of just have a nyloflume pack liner and dispensing with a lot of the dry sacks for quilt, clothes, etc. I found this saved me a bit of weight. My problem is I’m six three and everything is extra large so ways more, I also struggle in a one man tent so got the durston 2 person. Looking forward to seeing some more of your trips.

I really enjoyed that Robin just for viewing. A good array of kit there though at a respectable weight. I perked up at the pillow. I'm going to have to sort one out - I still use my sack. Well, good going. All the best. Mark

Great video, thank you! I love the Flextail Tiny pump - never seen it before. I watched this last Friday, ordered the pump from Amazon (via your link, of course) and it arrived on Saturday, just in time to be charged up and used to "encourage" the BBQ charcoal, which it did really well. I reckon I could have melted the grill bars with it given a bit longer. And then as a bonus (ie: what I actually bought it for) I tested it as a pump on my Alpkit Cloudbase mat and it worked fine. The lamp is pretty good too, once you've worked out how to turn it on. Maybe I should have read the instructions?

I'm sure I saw a YT comment from you somewhere a while back when you said you didn't understand the hype about the X-Mid "I'm not feeling it..." or something like that! Glad you decided to give it a try anyway. I've just used mine for the first time and I was really pleased with it, plenty of room for one person plus the two huge vestibules. My main concern was how it would behave in a wind but it was fine, despite some strong gusts coming off Ben Lui (I thought I'd picked a sheltered pitch) but it didn't budge at all, or even flap very much. Light and easy to pitch too.

Less than 7kg - amazing! I might try your cooking set-up - I've been using a Primus stove and a mess tin for years. I bought the Durston X-mid 1 person tent earlier this year after reading a comment below one of your vids - the guy should get commission! It's a great wee tent.
