Kia ceed 1.4 2010 g4fa. any idea what's this noise?

I had a same noise issue like yours...yesterday i went to dealership to diagnose the cause of the noise...while listenning the noise....they convince 85 % noise is not related to piston slap, wrist pin, and rod told me it is a timming chain related noise due to high millage..120.000 kms oddo...

If timing chain and valve clearance is good, it might be piston slap or loose piston pin. I read that it is common issue in this engine. Most of G4FA sounds like this, and i know thats annoying especially in petrol engine.

A bad tappet, i found on korean forums...can be cquse of tapping noise
