It really is satisfying to see the return of Ramirez's key on the benchtop, rather than settling for the floor. The most frustrating change from TFix in my opinion, is in this mission, namely the removal of the shadows in the guards' room and Ramirez's counting room. It essentially makes ghosting those areas completely luck dependent because they are brightly lit. Strangely though, I hadn't seen this change occur in your previous video of Assassins with TFix, and had only seen it in my game and a few other Thief Lets Play series. I suspect it is something that happened with later versions of the mod.

19:55 Wait! Thats illegal, you're removing light sources... hrmm, or did the clarification of that rule only come into effect after this video was recorded. As I rewatch its impossible to know where im up to in terms of the rules XD
