Brumate shaker bottle - is it any good?

I love mine with the exception of the middle piece being hard to twist sometimes.

Hi there! The mesh shaker piece, does it have to be in the cup for the top lid to close? Or can u remove it and still close the lid? I’m thinking about just this being my everyday insulated water bottle too, not just for my shakes. And I saw that they sell a straw lid separately now!

For hot beverages I read that the top lid is not recommended. Do they sell another lid for hot beverages?
